The Pilot Project

Academy Home began in Faizabad (Now Ayodhya), UP, in 2007 with 10 children. The goal was to see if a loving, disciplined environment with modern facilities and ethical training could help underprivileged children match the achievements of those from higher-income homes. Children were admitted to English-medium schools after tutoring, and facilities for sports.

Moving to Lucknow

After two years, Academy Home shifted to Lucknow for better educational opportunities. Children were admitted to reputable English-medium schools and adapted well to city life and academic rigor.

Recognition

The children were invited by the Governor of Uttar Pradesh for Eid celebrations, following an impressive meeting at the residence of justice Saghir Ahmad. They enjoyed an official tour of Raj Bhavan and evening tea with the Governor.

Our Vision

Morning Star Society constructed a new building to accommodate stays of up to 25–30 days. The plan emphasizes safety, comfort, privacy, and easy access for teachers and guests. The building design considers Lucknow's climate and aims to provide a nurturing environment for learning and growth. The aim is to support children from primary through secondary education and help them transition to college with the support of NGOs.
