About Us

Morning Star Society was founded with the vision of being a guiding light in the face of severe social, economic, and educational challenges. Inspired by the findings of the Sachar Committee Report of 2006—which highlighted the backwardness faced by India’s Muslim community. The Society was established in 2007 to address these disparities for all Minority Communities. The organization has since dedicated itself to illuminating the path towards progress and inclusion for these communities.

As a non-profit organization, Morning Star Society is committed to uplifting children and underserved populations. The Society believes that education, when paired with a secure and supportive environment, is a powerful catalyst for sustainable socio-economic development. By focusing on these foundational elements, Morning Star Society aims to create lasting positive change within the communities it serves.

Academy Home: A Second Home for Learning

Establishing a Nurturing Environment

As a pilot project, the Society established the concept of an Academy Home—a place designed to serve as both a second home and an academy of learning for deprived and disadvantaged boys. The aim was to create an environment where these children could thrive and prosper. This approach is intended to foster inner discipline, rooted in integrity, responsibility, self-discipline, and selflessness.

Purpose

Purpose and Vision

Academy Home was established to provide underprivileged children with a nurturing environment, quality education, and opportunities for personal growth. Many homes are affected by poverty or ignorance, leading to unprecedented childhood trauma for thousands of innocent lives. Numerous children lose one or both parents early in life, often in households already lacking resources and emotional or moral support. The Society envisioned Academy Home as a safe haven for these children, a place where they could develop their full academic potential while being grounded in universal principles of ethics and morality. This would empower them to become socially responsible individuals, assets to their community rather than liabilities.

Challenges

Addressing Educational Challenges

Children’s educational achievement is closely linked to their home environment, which often serves as their first school. Many poor children lack the resources and support necessary for academic success. Academy Home was founded to address these gaps and provide a supportive, well-equipped environment that encourages learning and personal growth.
